On September 28 at the National Oil Corporation’s headquarters in Tripoli, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanalla held a meeting with a high-level delegation from the Italian company Eni, headed by the CEO of the company, Mr. Claudio Descalzi.

Both sides discussed ways of further developing of mutual cooperation. Mr. Descalzi expressed the desire of the Italian company Eni to invest in Libya and cooperate with the National Oil Corporation in the implementation of many vital projects in the oil sector. The projects include the Al-Bouri field development project, which is currently at (Phase II), the two Structures ( A and E) and the development of Al Hamada and (Area NC 7 A).

In addition, the two sides discussed Eni’s cooperation with NOC as a strategic partner in sustainable development and social responsibility programs in the areas adjacent to its oil operations, through the Sustainable Development Department.

Eni officials confirmed their continued support in the field of health to combat against the Corona pandemic by providing the necessary supplies and equipment. The two sides also discussed the company’s contribution to the project to treat cancer in children in the city of Benghazi.
