Electricidade de Moçambique (Mozambique Electricity – EDM) has signed, with its Zimbabwean counterpart Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA), a contract to supply 50MW of energy for a period of three years.
The contract renews the previous agreement, which expired on 31 December, 2021, but now includes the possibility of supplying 150MW of additional ‘non-firm’ energy.
