NSML Set to Open Dry-Docking Facility in Nigeria

NLNG Ship Management Limited (NSML) – which manages ships that belong to Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) – will build a dry-docking facility in Nigeria in collaboration with Samsung, Hyundai and other Nigerian investors.

Abdul-Kadir Ahmed, NSML Managing Director says that the country lacks the needed facilities to dry dock, and NLNG ships have to dry-dock internationally.

“In line with the International Maritime Organization regulation, every vessel must undergo dry-docking once every three years to retain their safety classification and insurance cover,” Ahmed said.
