ABB Wins Contract For Mozambique LNG

Swiss engineering group ABB has been selected by a joint venture composed of Saipem, McDermott and Chiyoda to deliver comprehensive integrated and electrical systems for Total’s $20-billion Mozambique LNG project.
The scope of the 26-month contract includes the delivery of 14 onshore electrical houses or electrical substation buildings and electrical control and power management system integration with 110-kV gas-insulated switchgears, medium voltage switchgears (33-kV, 11-kV) and low-voltage switchgears.
