The Konza Technopolis Development Authority and the Israeli Embassy in Kenya have teamed up to host an innovation challenge.

The Konza Technopolis Development Authority (KoTDA) and the Israeli Embassy in Kenya have teamed up to hold an innovation competition to meet the future smart city’s technology-driven needs.
The competition, dubbed the “Konza Innovation Challenge,” will concentrate on inventions in response to the development of Konza Technopolis, which will use technology to fuel the city’s smart goals.
According to Eng. John Tanui, Chief Executive Officer of KoTDA, the challenge will provide an opportunity for Kenyan and Israeli innovators to meet Konza Technopolis’ immediate and long-term needs, with an emphasis on smart access control, intelligent asset management, and smart parking management.
