Vale Mozambique opens vacancies for paid internships |Apply now!

Mining company Vale Mozambique has just opened 70 vacancies for paid internships for Mozambicans aged between 18 and 35 years old. The 12-month vacancies – for which applications must be submitted by February 28 – form part of Vale’s 2021 Internship Programme.

In addition to benefiting from a wealth of professional experience, the future trainees will be entitled to remuneration, and will also benefit from a health plan, meals, and transport.

The initiative offers job opportunities for young Mozambicans who have completed secondary and higher education. Vale Mozambique further encourages women to apply for the positions available.

The vacancies are available in the following areas of higher education:

Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Production and Mining Engineering, Psychology, Human Resources and Human Resources Management, Engineering, Finance, Business Management, Accounting and Auditing, Energy, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Agronomy Forest Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical and Mining Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Hydraulics, Economics, Management, Geology and Geotechnics.

For medium-level education, applications, those interested must have training in the following areas:

Electricity, Electro-mechanics, General mechanics, Industrial mechanics, Geology and Mining, Electrical Instrumentation and Automation.

Since 2009, Vale has been offering young Mozambicans internship opportunities. By 2018, the company had trained around 700 young people, around 40% of whom joined the company workforce at the end of the programme.

Vale Mozambique believes that this investment will boost the socio-economic development of the country, generating opportunities for the development and qualification of the national workforce.
