Bids in for NNPC downstream rehab work

Nigerian National Petroleum Corp. (NNPC) has received bids from 96 companies for rehabilitation of downstream infrastructure. The company held a virtual public opening round on companies pre-qualifying for the work. NNPC had issued the tender in August 2020.
The work covers the “the rehabilitation of NNPC downstream critical pipelines and associated depots and terminal infrastructure through Finance [build, operate and transfer] BOT to cover four lots”, said Nigerian Pipelines and Storage Company’s (NPSC) managing director Ada Oyetunde.
The first lot covers infrastructure related to the Port Harcourt refinery, the second the Warri Refinery, the third the Kaduna Refinery and the fourth System 2B related infrastructure.
