The Petroleum Industry Bill 2020 has passed first reading in the Senate of the Federal republic of Nigeria.

The Leader of the Senate, Yahaya Abdullahi delivered the PIB to the President of the Senate, Ahmad Laban, for reading.

The Daily, www.thedaily-ng.com had earlier reported the delivery of the proposed legislation to both the Senate and House of representatives.
