Dalia FPSO passes billion-barrel milestone

The Dalia floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel has produced 1 billion barrels of oil, offshore Angola.
The facility is on Block 17, which has produced around 3bn barrels of oil, Agência Nacional de Petróleo, Gás e Biocombustíveis (ANPG) said.
The regulator reported the Dalia FPSO milestone had been reached in July. It began producing in 2006. ANPG said Dalia had not recorded any lost time incidents, which it attributed to the health and safety commitments of its owners.
The block is operated by Total E&P Angola, with Equinor, ExxonMobil, BP and Sonangol P&P also involved.
There are 84 wells on Dalia, with production at around 142,000 barrels per day. The facility peaking in April 2010 at 288,872 bpd.
