Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) has said that, about four technical partners have been given permits to render services to the oil and gas industry in Gombe.

Mr Yahaya Maishera, DPR controller of Gombe state field office, dropped the hint. This was during a technical session organised for its oil and gas technical partners in the state. There he said the technical session was necessary, adding that every company working with DPR will henceforth be accredited.

He said, petroleum drilling and production regulation means that, no company shall operate either technical or oil service. They must registered and issued permits to carry out such services by the DPR.
